We hope you’re doing well and staying safe and healthy as we enter the next two weeks of what health officials call a crucial time in the fight against COVID-19 here in the U.S.
We’re trying to stay indoors as much as possible.
For me that means cooking up a lot of the grocery items we’ve stocked up on and taking this opportunity of forced social distancing and staying home to whip up recipes I’ve been wanting to make for a long time.
Maybe it's just that practice makes perfect but Bob has figured out how to grill meat to perfection. OK, who am I kidding? Obviously it has a lot to do with the grilling instructional handbook. He also watches YouTube videos while grilling certain cuts of meats. Also... he will always err on the side of rare, because as he says, "you can't uncook those steaks, but you can always throw them back on the grill.
During these trying times I’ve also been more interested in dishes that bring me comfort.
